Paralegal Admin Specialist

CGS is seeking a Paralegal to process electronic legal instruments, assist with trial prep and hearings, and provide additional legal support for a large federal agency.

Skills and attributes for success:
ย ย ย ย ย ย  A Paralegal/Administrative Specialist performs, but is not limited to the following duties:
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide Apprentice examination of legal instruments
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Review legal instruments (completeness of information, proper execution)
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provides direct support to Litigation Support Unit, attorneys and paralegals regarding functional and administrative duties as needed
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Determine correctness of action (per Government regulations, procedures, etc).
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Research records (to ascertain conditions that might preclude action)
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assists with various tasks within the Litigation Support Unit on a daily basis to include the processing of data and evidence for cases and the completion of discovery productions
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist with the preparation of trial and hearing presentations and demonstratives
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Collects and compiles statistical data as necessary for various reports
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide assistance within the Administrative Division on project-based work as well as coverage of administrative duties during employee vacations
ย ย ย ย ย ย  Proficiency with numerous software and databases including, but not limited to, MICROSOFT SUITE.
