JOB OVERVIEW
Bend Golf Club (BGC) is a private, member-owned Club located in Bend, Oregon, one of America's most beautiful and dynamic cities. The club is minutes away from the city center and the area's plentiful recreational opportunities, including the Deschutes River, the Cascade Lakes Recreation Area, the Deschutes National Forest, and the Mt. Bachelor ski and snowboard resort.

JOB SUMMARY
Member service attendant team members are expected to consistently provide high level customer service experiences and superior quality of products for club members and guests of Bend Golf Club.
The position will operate on the practice facilities, golf course, and golf cart storage areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • In a courteous, friendly and professional manner provide carts and range balls for Guests while keeping all work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
  • Greet Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and by name while projecting a professional image.
  • Communicate in a clear, pleasant and professional manner information that will assist the Member/Guest in playing the course. An example would be that yardage markers on sprinkler heads are measured to the middle of the green.
  • Deliver carts from the cart barn(s) to the daily staging area. Provide golf cars that are clean, safe, and properly prepared with a full sand bottle, pencil, scorecard, and tees.
  • Perform daily cart cleaning and scheduled maintenance.
  • Update cart service records for better maintenance and amp hour reporting.
  • Assist Members and Guest as they arrive and depart from the facility. Be certain all golf clubs are cleaned.
  • Maintain all practice areas in a fully stocked and clean appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: Entry level
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid Driver's License
  • Other Knowledge/Skills & Abilities: Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, simple drawings, procedure manuals. Ability to speak and interact with other team members, leadership, members and guests.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Physical Demands: Required to be physically dexterous, so that you can work on your feet for long hours (see physical requirements). Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Working Environment: Workers are required to be able to withstand extreme weather conditions.
