Private Wealth Management (PWM)

PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
Goldman Sachs Family Office (GSFO) works in coordination with Private Wealth Advisors to develop strong ties with clients to deliver a full suite of wealth planning and family office services.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for the delivery of investment reporting solutions, building trust and rapport across PWA teams, clients and third-party partners. Identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and ensuring the highest quality of services.
  • Partner with PWM teams to manage the client lifecycle throughout their relationship with the consolidated reporting platform, from preliminary marketing, client demos, needs evaluation, onboarding, delivery of services and troubleshooting.
  • Become the in-house subject matter expert for sophisticated investment reporting, acting as the go-to contact for all PWA team and client in-bounds.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to clients and advisors, helping them navigate the evolving investment reporting technology landscape and guiding them in selecting the best platform suited to their unique profile.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on new product launches, ensuring flawless execution across every touchpoint for an exceptional advisor and client experience.
  • Ensure PWA teams and clients obtain value quickly. You will gain hands-on experience of overseeing the client onboarding process and ongoing delivery of services, including ensuring stakeholders are properly educated to maximize value of the service. Build PWA and client loyalty by understanding client needs, cultivating trusted-advisor relationships with key stakeholders, and proactively minimizing churn
  • Collaborate, problem-solve, and/or strategize with PWA teams to deliver tailored solutions to address complex client challenges.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes
  • Track, resolve, and act on client requests and feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Champion a client-centric culture that fosters collaboration, accountability, and service excellence across the team.

WHERE WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Our Private Wealth Management business spans the globe; this role will be primary placed in Dallas, TX
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in a client facing role (Family office, wealth management, or other experience working with high-net-worth families, is preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to exceed clients' expectations.
  • Understanding of financial and performance reporting within wealth management
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; strong logical thinker and exceptional multi-tasking ability
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that services are delivered on time with a high degree of quality.
  • Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Deep interest in the financial markets and good investment sense/commercial instinct
  • Resourceful, self-starter, attentive to detail with great organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & Series 63 exams (must be obtained within first 3 months of employment)
