Role Summary

Goldman Sachs Ayco is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building cutting-edge applications for financial advisors, leveraging both frontend and backend technologies, with a significant focus on Generative AI. Your work will directly empower our advisors and enhance client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy robust Generative AI applications and integrations.

Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for intelligent application development.

Contribute to the full-stack development of scalable and secure financial applications using modern frameworks.

Collaborate with product owners to translate complex user feedback into clear, actionable technical requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.

Experience with frameworks including Spring Boot, Pydantic, LangChain, and LangGraph.

Hands-on project experience building Gen AI integrations and RAG applications, including chat-based solutions.

Demonstrated ability to untangle user feedback into precise requirements and break down projects into iterative delivery milestones.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $95000-$145000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
