Oak View Group
Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.
Position Summary
Acrisure Arena is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the development and execution of design and marketing materials for the Coachella Valley Lakers, the NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers.
This role is responsible for producing both digital and print assets that support marketing, ticket sales, partnerships, and game presentation initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is passionate about sports, storytelling, and fan engagement. This position will collaborate closely with internal teams to bring campaigns to life and enhance the overall fan experience in the Coachella Valley.
This role will pay an annual salary of $71,000 - $75,000.
Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).
This position will remain open until August 14, 2026.
About the Venue
America's hottest music festival destination finally has the world-class arena it deserves. Now open, Acrisure Arena provides the greater Palm Springs area of Southern California with a premier 11,000+ capacity venue hosting the biggest artists and acts on the planet. We are #TheCoolestSpot in the desert, designed specifically for hockey and made for concerts. Acrisure Arena provides top-tier hospitality, artist amenities, and all the benefits of a modern music and sports venue to the Coachella Valley.
Coachella Valley Lakers
The Coachella Valley Lakers are the newest addition to the rapidly growing sports and entertainment landscape in the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as the South Bay Lakers, the team serves as the official NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the most iconic and successful franchises in global sports. Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the organization has built a strong reputation for developing elite talent, supporting the NBA pipeline, and delivering a high level of competition within the G League.
Backed by the championship legacy and global brand of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Coachella Valley Lakers embody a culture rooted in excellence, innovation, and player development. This legacy, combined with Oak View Group's success in launching Acrisure Arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds in 2022, created a powerful foundation for continued growth. This foundation positions the Coachella Valley Lakers to build on an established track record while supporting the development of future NBA talent.
The transition to the Coachella Valley marks an exciting new chapter for the franchise, aligning with the region's emergence as a premier destination for sports and live entertainment. Since the opening of Acrisure Arena in 2022, the desert has experienced significant momentum, highlighted by the success of the Coachella Valley Firebirds and a growing calendar of world-class events. This expansion reflects a broader vision to establish the Valley as a dynamic hub for professional sports, community engagement, and unforgettable fan experiences.
The Coachella Valley Lakers will be managed by OVG in a similar fashion to the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The team will play a vital role in connecting with local fans, supporting regional development, and enhancing the overall sports scene in the desert. Fueled by Coachella Valley's energy, talent, and love for sports, the Coachella Valley Lakers are perfectly positioned to amplify the next chapter of professional sports and the continued pursuit of entertainment in the region.
Responsibilities
  • Design and produce creative assets for the Coachella Valley Lakers, including digital, social, print, and in-arena materials.
  • Support marketing campaigns, ticket sales initiatives, partnerships, and community engagement efforts through compelling visual content.
  • Create graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, and promotional campaigns.
  • Assist in the development and execution of brand campaigns aligned with team and NBA G League guidelines.
  • Capture and design real-time and post-game content to support game-day storytelling and fan engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all creative assets in alignment with team, league, and partner standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing, social media, partnerships, and game presentation teams to execute creative concepts.
  • Design materials such as signage, sales collateral, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain and organize all digital assets, templates, and brand files.
  • Stay current on all design trends, tools, and best practices within sports and entertainment.
  • Represent the Coachella Valley Lakers and Acrisure Arena in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in sports, hospitality, entertainment, or a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), PowerPoint, and Canva is required.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout for digital, traditional print, and large-format outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to efficiently handle full production rollout, taking an admat and resizing it for use across a variety of channels and cross-functional needs.
  • Ability to coordinate projects with outside vendors and agencies, including acquiring project estimates and graphic/proof editing, printing, and delivery deadlines.
  • Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail; familiarity with project management tools and platforms like Monday.com, Trello, etc. is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make brand-related decisions and recommendations, and collaborate as part of a team environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
  • Must be able to work all home games and team events.
