Job description

Francis Manufacturing Company is seeking entry level foundry laborers for first shift. Hours for this position are 6:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

New hires begin in the shake-out position. Shake-out associates are molder helpers in the Foundry department and work closely with the molder to assist them with creating a structurally sound sand mold. They are responsible for unearthing the castings from the mold after molten aluminum has been poured and solidified while ensuring the molder has all proper materials and the area is maintained. After adequate training, shake out associates will be trained to transition to our Pour Off or Molder positions. Our Foundry area is where castings are created and is the heart of our business. All quality castings begin with sound foundry practices. This role does require heavy lifting of up to 70 lbs. on a continual basis.

  • Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay, Personal Days, Medical/Prescription/Dental/Vision/Life Insurances available.
  • 100% COMPANY PAID RETIREMENT
  • Weekly Production Bonus
