Responsibilities

As an Installer II, you are responsible for reading and interpreting the proper installation specifications for various construction projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

  • Determine floor plan layouts, power distribution, backup power supplies, and cabling of central office equipment
  • Identify and request parts necessary to establish low- and high-level racking, transmission racking, power racking, aisle lighting, and provision for grounding
  • Create comprehensive and accurate installation specifications and equipment requirements to fulfill customer orders
  • Create or correct location records, drawings, bill of materials (BOM), installation notes, and memos to reflect additions and modifications to customers' location (central office) because of installation or engineering activities
  • Review installation specifications

  • Candidate will be working primarily in a central office, which is a structure used by telecommunications companies to house equipment needed to direct and process telephone calls and data traffic (Telephone Central Offices (CO's) are also known as telephone switching centers, wire centers, or telephone exchanges)
