Job description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Los Angeles, California.
Work You'll Do
Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
  • Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using Agile methodology, and SAP S/4HANA with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS);
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI, and Atlassian Jira;
  • Working across phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall methologies, including planning and requirements gathering for the design, development, testing and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Central Component (ECC) and S/4HANA modules, including SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), and SAP Finance (FI);
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using Jira, Tricentis qTest, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), MS Power BI, Project, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing SAP modules, including SD, FI, Logistics Execution (LE), and Material Management (MM);
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions using SAP Activate methodology with Jira, ALM, qTest, and MS Excel; and
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans and configuration documents, utilizing MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Jira, and ALM to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects.
