Automotive Service Clerk / Cashier

D'Addario Automotive Group | Shelton, CT

We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Clerk/Cashier to join our busy Service Department.

Schedule

(Schedule may vary based on department needs.)

  • Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays (every other): 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No Sundays
Compensation

Starting Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Process payments for Service and Parts customers
  • Accurately balance cash, credit card, and check transactions daily
  • File repair orders, parts tickets, and related documents
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally
  • Schedule service appointments
  • Contact customers to confirm upcoming appointments and conduct follow-up calls after service visits
  • Maintain the customer waiting area, including coffee and refreshment stations
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the Service Department
  • Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a busy office environment
