Ardent is seeking a Performance/Data Analyst to join our team.  

This is a on-site position in Washington, DC.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Performance / Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and operational performance initiatives within DOJ environments. This role will support analysis of large and complex datasets, development of dashboards and reporting solutions, and delivery of analytical insights supporting law enforcement and interagency operations. The position may support projects involving sensitive law enforcement and intelligence community information requiring elevated security access.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and operational insights.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions using Tableau or equivalent tools.
  • Support data analysis efforts related to law enforcement, operational, or statistical datasets.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation activities to support analytics initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Python, and R to conduct analysis and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support performance measurement and operational reporting requirements.
  • Support preparation of reports, briefings, and data-driven recommendations for leadership.
  • Assist with maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting efforts.
  • Support analytical initiatives across both operational and strategic projects.
  • Ensure compliance with DOJ security and data handling requirements.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or performance analysis roles.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Python, R, and Tableau or equivalent analytics and visualization platforms.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data analysis methodologies.
  • Experience supporting law enforcement, government, or large statistical datasets.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for Top Secret clearance for select projects, if required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting DOJ, law enforcement, intelligence community, or federal environments.
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with data visualization, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling techniques.
  • Experience working with sensitive or classified information environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance and secure data handling procedures.
