Guardium System Admin/Analyst 

H1, GC, Citizen 

Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension)

Location: Newark, NJ   

Job Description: 

Responsibilities:

Help to ensure the quality design, implementation, installation/configuration, and provide technical admin support for IBM Guardium solutions

Provide day-to-day (24/7) infrastructure platform support/monitoring and oversight of Operational and Administrative activities related to Guardium

Design HA (High Availability) and System Backup/Recovery Strategies

Perform appliance, agent installations, patch testing, product upgrades, and data backup/purge operations

Work with vendor on problem resolution

Create policies and audit reports to meet the business requirements

Provide system information to clients and auditors

Participate in Disaster Recovery Planning, Design, and Tests

Perform security audits, scan and monitor servers.

Investigate and report on security alerts and perform security incident reporting.

Setup and review security audit logs.

Requirements:

2 years of experience with the Guardium system version 8 or 9 including implementation, administration, and operational support. Must have knowledge on both Data Activity Monitor (DAM) and Vulnerability Assessment (VA) products

5 year of experience working with Data Privacy tool or Security applications

Knowledge of Windows, Linux/UNIX, and mainframe zOS and familiar with their command sets

Knowledge of databases: MS SQL, Oracle, DB2

Knowledge of SQL language, Data Modeling, Database Catalogs, Schema

Programming skills and scripting experience (Perl a plus)

Advance knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, FTP, SCP, firewalls, ACLs, Authentication protocols, Authorization, VPN, PKI, and Encryption

Knowledge of Directory Services including Active Directory, LDAP, and TDS

Knowledge of F5 load balancers

Knowledge of IT security principles, HIPAA, SOX and PCI regulations

Business Analysis skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements

Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills

Experience with other database monitoring or system monitoring tools a plus

Firm understanding of the data privacy/security impact on other business units and the ability to apply that knowledge to solve complex issues

Security certification a plus such as CISSP or CISA

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Programming, or IT required
