Job Description

Position: Solution Architect (Direct Client) 

Duration: 12 Months

Work Location: New York - NY

Immediate Interview 

Job Description: 

Perform the following phases for design work: discovery & execution, coordination & planning, progression of discovery phase to engineering phase and related hand off requirements, using HCS ICS framework and identifying deliverables for each effort

Engagement in discovery & design solution that is adaptable and successfully deployed in production within the environment

Engagement with network load balancing support teams to review and recommend updates to proposed solutions and execute supporting configurations.

Escalation point for issues related to load balancing

Participate in meetings to support migrations of applications

Interface with server teams on behalf of customer

Support, deploy and migrate to Single Sign On authentication solution

Generate Project Plan for code upgrades in sequential manor, with a non-disruptive solution

Develop phased implementation plan, communication plan and coordinate the implementation of over two thousand (2,000) applications.


Load Balancing Engineer L3 Requirements

Understand and able to design and deploy advanced network support, create complex application configurations, and perform maintenance and troubleshoot the following platforms:

Cisco ACE 4710 LB

Cisco ACE Module 30 LB

Cisco Site Selector (GSS)

Understand A10 Networks, ADC & GSLB

F5 Load Balancers (from Hospira)


Sustaining Engineering:

Retire ACE routed mode design & migrate configurations into our new approved design (NAT)

Understand Service Center

Engage customers for Migrations

Knowledge & experience with RFCs, ITIL requirements, CMDB

Migration applications from Cisco Platforms to A10 (Durham)

Support external cloud environments (A10 Networks vThunder)


New Requests:

High visibility/profile projects - engage in discovery & design solution and adaptable with environment

Engage with support teams to review and recommend updates to proposed solutions and execute supporting configurations.

Escalation point for issues

Participate in meetings to support migrations of applications, know escalation

Interface with server teams on behalf of customer

Support Deploy and migration to Single Sign On authentication solution
