Job description

​We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Excavation Laborer to join our field crew. In this role, you will work directly with equipment operators and site leads to perform ground-level excavation, utility installation, and equipment support. This entry-level position offers direct mentorship with structured opportunities for equipment operator training and career advancement.

​Key Responsibilities


​Operator Support:

 Assist heavy equipment operators with bucket and teeth changes, connecting hydraulic hoses, checking grades, and spraying water for material moisture conditioning.


​Pipe & Groundwork: Shovel trenching material, lay pipe, and perform hand labor under the direction of the site lead.

​Site Safety & Care: Maintain high situational awareness around active machinery, follow all safety instructions, and treat company tools and equipment with respect.


​Qualifications & Requirements


​Physical Ability:

 Able to lift at least 50 lbs continuously and perform strenuous manual labor in outdoor job site environments.


​Punctuality & Logistics: Must have reliable, consistent transportation and a proven track record of arriving on time every day.

​Communication & Safety: 

Clear communication skills, strong spatial awareness, and a demonstrated ability to take and follow instructions accurately.
