Mower is a fiercely independent, 100% employee-owned, full-service advertising, marketing, and public relations agency with team members located across the United States. Our team is seeking an Associate, Organic Social, to support the development, management, publishing and optimization of organic social media programs across client channels. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive and eager to learn, with a passion for social platforms, creator culture and social-first storytelling. The ideal candidate also thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, can balance multiple brands and priorities, adapts quickly to evolving client needs and real-time social opportunities, and demonstrates the initiative to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities

  • Implement and support the management of social media programs across multiple brands and platforms, partnering with internal teams to execute strategies, optimize performance, and support client objectives.
  • Create and publish organic social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads and emerging platforms.
  • Maintain content calendars and support campaign planning tied to seasonal moments, tentpole events and cultural trends.
  • Collaborate with PR, Creative, Media and Account teams to support integrated campaigns and social storytelling.
  • Support the development of short-form video, carousels, Stories and other social-first content formats.
  • Write platform-specific social copy aligned with audience behavior, brand voice and campaign objectives.
  • Design and edit social content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut and native platform tools.
  • Support competitive audits, social listening and content research to identify trends, engagement opportunities and platform best practices.
  • Publish and manage content across channels, ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor engagement and support community management across client social channels.
  • Pull data and support analysis of performance metrics to help optimize content and campaign performance.
  • Participate in brainstorms, planning sessions and team working sessions as needed.
  • Assist with content organization, asset management and preparation of social content for publishing across platforms.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn social publishing and scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer or similar tools.
  • Review content prior to publication to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, links, tagging and brand compliance.
  • Assist in compiling social performance reports and identifying key engagement, reach and audience growth trends.
Educational Requirements amp; Qualifications
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in social media, content marketing or digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Professional or internship experience creating and publishing content for brands across social platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing and organizational skills.
  • Experience with, or interest in learning, creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in social trends, creator culture and evolving platform behaviors.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
Pay rate: $20- $29/hour
This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience.
