Job Description
The Compliance Analyst / Administrative Support role supports the design, implementation, oversight and continuous improvement of Nidec's ethics and compliance program by assisting with compliance monitoring, assessments, reporting, and administrative processes. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Counsel, Global Ethics and Compliance Strategy Leader, this position focuses on supporting global compliance operations though effective data analysis and reporting. The role works closely with Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to help identify compliance risks, support investigations and assessments, and maintain effective compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring business operations, processes, and procedures for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support compliance assessments, surveys, gap analyses, and periodic reviews to identify potential risks or issues.
  • Assist with documentation, tracking, and reporting of compliance issues or violations.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for compliance investigations and inquiries under direction of compliance leadership.
  • Support the organization and maintenance of compliance documentation, policies, procedures, and records.
  • Assist in tracking regulatory and industry developments relevant to compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, reviews, and information requests related to compliance matters.
  • Prepare compliance reports, summaries, and data analyses for compliance leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support compliance initiatives and operational needs.
  • Perform other compliance support and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, legal support, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of compliance concepts, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with survey tools such as Microsoft forms and data visualization such as Excel, Power BI and Tableau,
  • Proficiency with standard business software tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
