Job description

Position Overview

A.C. Moate Industries is expanding in the Reno, Nevada market and is seeking an experienced Asphalt Estimator / Sales Professional to support and drive this growth.

This role is best suited for a results-driven professional who excels at developing relationships, generating new business opportunities, and managing the full sales and estimating process. The ideal candidate brings industry experience, operates independently, and has a strong track record of converting opportunities into revenue.

This is not an entry-level position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site meetings with clients to assess project needs
  • Evaluate pavement conditions, including asphalt, sealcoat, striping, and repair scopes
  • Develop and present accurate, professional estimates and proposals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Perform consistent follow-up to secure new and repeat business
  • Contribute to market expansion efforts within the Reno commercial sector


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating and sales
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals and managing client relationships
  • Strong understanding of pavement systems and maintenance solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
