ESL Teacher

Position: ESL Teacher
Qualifications: Must meet all current Illinois Teaching Licensure requirements.
Salary: Entry Level Salary of a BA with 0 Years of Experience, according to the 2025-2026 Teaching Contract, is $41,318.00.
Benefits include 12 paid sick days and 3 paid personal days per year. The Board contributes $610.00 per month towards the cost of health insurance.
Duties:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching ESL Students. ESL Teacher will provide direct instruction, collaborate with staff, differentiate instructions, assess student progress, create a supportive environment, administer language screenings, coordinate assessments, manage bilingual advisory committee activities and parent engagement.
Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet performance responsibilities as listed in the job description.
As required by State Law and District Policy, employment is conditional upon passing a background investigation. A current Illinois Teaching Certificate with ESL Certification is required.
