Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-literate individual to join our team as a Health Recovery Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying billable health insurance, obtaining claim status via telephone calls, utilizing payer portals for status inquiries and submitting reconsiderations/appeals, as well as accurately entering information into the appropriate systems. Training will be provided, covering entry-level tasks and ongoing programs to stay updated on changing reimbursement strategies of health insurance providers.

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented individual with a focus on accuracy.
  • Fast typist with a minimum speed of approximately 40 words per minute.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude during all interactions.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with UB04, CMS1500, ICD-9, and ICD-10 forms.
  • Preferred knowledge of HCPCS, Diagnosis, and CPT codes.
  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Experience with client systems is advantageous.
  • HB(Institutional) or PB(Professional) Epic experience preferred.
