About the Position
We are searching for an Entry/Early Career-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in one of the following Pond offices: Atlanta, GA; Augusta, GA; Savannah, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Tampa, FL; Port Orange, FL; Columbia, SC; Charlotte, NC; Huntsville, AL; Mobile, AL; or New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of related design engineering experience (internship/co-op experience included) and a strong desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this role, you will support the design of mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and piping. Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies, providing opportunities for broadening your knowledge and developing your skillset in building systems design. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and move efficiently through various design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation.
Experience and Qualifications
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
  • 0-2 years of related MEP experience (internship/co-op experience included).
  • Familiarity with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
  • EIT certification preferred with plans to obtain PE license in the near future.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and be self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
