Job description

Civil Engineering Internship - Land Development (Summer 2026)

Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States

The Civil Engineering Intern position will support project teams in our Real Estate and Land Development market.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer support to senior engineers by utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D and understanding plan interpretations
  • Provide project support by assisting in drafting documents, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer's opinion of probable costs, project schedules, and utility computations
  • Conduct research on properties and projects for zoning including local and state requirements
  • Complete site visits and field assignments as needed
  • Assist in providing construction-related services such as permit applications, construction plans, and other related construction documents
  • Communicate with the Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status to meet designated chargeability goals

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
  • Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Entry-level experience with AutoCAD is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to work well both within a team and independently
