Production AssociatePosition Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Production Associates to join one of the industry's leading manufacturers of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) products. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment supporting electronic assembly operations across SMT, PTH, and Final Assembly departments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, assembling components, monitoring manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.


Key ResponsibilitiesSMT (Surface Mount Technology)
  • Load blank PCB/PCBA boards into SMT production machines.
  • Monitor SMT production lines to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
  • Load, replace, and unload component reels as needed.
  • Stop, thread, restart, and troubleshoot machines during reel changes.
  • Verify proper machine performance and report any production issues.
PTH (Plated Through-Hole) Operations
  • Transfer boards from SMT production lines to PTH insertion equipment.
  • Load and feed component reels into insertion machines.
  • Monitor machine functionality and production flow.
  • Operate and oversee wave soldering equipment.
  • Maintain solder levels and ensure components are properly secured to circuit boards.
Final Assembly & Testing
  • Assemble completed PCB/PCBA boards into server housings and electronic enclosures.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools while following detailed build sheets and work instructions.
  • Perform functional pass/fail testing on completed assemblies.
  • Document production activities, testing results, and product movement accurately.
  • Maintain quality standards and follow established production procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of stable work history.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a 5th-grade level math assessment.
  • Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Previous experience in:
    • Manufacturing or production environments
    • Mechanical or electronic assembly
    • Machine operation
    • SMT, PCB, or PCBA production processes

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.
