Job description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Construction Laborer to assist with the build-out of a themed commercial entertainment venue in Valparaiso, Indiana. This is a temporary project-based position expected to run through October 2026.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial construction environments and be comfortable performing a variety of carpentry, framing, installation, and general construction tasks.

We are looking for someone who can work with minimal supervision, take pride in their work, show up consistently, and help keep the project moving toward completion. This position is best suited for someone with hands-on construction experience rather than entry-level labor.


Pay rate will be $25-35 per hour, based upon experience

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Metal stud framing and wall construction
  • Installation of wood and decorative wall systems
  • Construction of themed interior features
  • Installation of ceiling systems and backing
  • Material handling and site organization
  • Assisting with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing rough-in activities
  • Stage and platform construction
  • Installation of doors, trim, and finish materials
  • Basic demolition and remodeling work
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
