Job description

We inspire purpose-filled living that brings joy to the modern home. With a team of more than 8,000 associates spanning 130 store and distribution locations across the U.S. and Canada, we achieve together, drive results and innovate to inspire. Drawn together by a shared passion for our customers and a spirit of fun, we deliver high-quality home furnishings that are expertly designed, responsibly sourced and bring beauty and function to people's homes. From the day we opened our first store in Chicago in 1962 to the digital innovations that engage millions of customers today, our iconic brand is nearly 60 years in the making-and our story is still unfolding.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level, "hands-on-keys" role where you will help execute, optimize, and scale our Paid Advertising campaigns across major digital ecosystems-including Paid Search (Google, Bing) and Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) platforms.

This is an onsite role, requiring to be in the Crate HQ office in Northbrook, IL Monday through Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life of a Digital Marketing Coordinator...

  • Support the day-to-day setup, launching, and quality assurance of digital advertising campaigns-ranging from Search, Shopping, and PMAX to Paid Social video and image ads

  • Maintain flawless execution regarding tracking links, naming conventions, and audience targeting

  • Conduct daily budget pacing checks across active channels to ensure our spend tracks smoothly toward monthly targets and hits efficiency/ROI goals

  • Pull daily and weekly performance data from ad platforms and web analytics tools (like Google Ads or Adobe Analytics). You will look past just "the numbers" to help build the story behind performance trends

  • Manage the creative pipeline by analyzing asset performance (e.g., CTR, view rate, conversion rates) and collaborate with technical teams to ensure product inventory feeds run smoothly

  • Assist in setting up and analyzing scientific lift studies, creative tests, and copy experiments to continuously maximize our media budget efficiency

  • Partner closely with internal teams including Brand,, Creative, eCommerce, and Merchandising to ensure our paid advertising aligns with site inventory and brand priorities

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data visualization) is essential; passion diving into sheets to find patterns

  • Desire to figure out the "why" behind consumer behavior, changing marketplace dynamics, and algorithmic performance drops

  • High attention to quality assurance

  • A proactive self-starter who can manage their own daily task list, pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment, and take independent ownership of assignments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex campaign data into simple, actionable summaries.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • Relevant marketing or data-focused internship, university agency co-op, or intensive academic project work dealing with digital marketing or data analytics
