ENTRY-LEVEL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Company: Kyros
Location: Houston, Texas
Schedule: Part-Time | Hybrid/Field-Based
Compensation: $250 Weekly Ramp Stipend for the First 60 Days + Uncapped Commission
About Kyros
Kyros provides dependable staffing solutions to businesses in hospitality, warehousing, logistics, healthcare, commercial facilities, and other industries with ongoing workforce needs.
Position Overview
Kyros is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and coachable Entry-Level Business Development Representative to help identify potential clients, introduce our staffing services, schedule meetings, and support the development of new business accounts.
Previous staffing-sales experience is not required. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in developing practical experience in sales, business development, client relations, and contract acquisition.
The selected candidate will receive guidance on Kyros’s services, target industries, prospecting methods, sales messaging, lead tracking, and the staffing-sales process.
Responsibilities
• Research Houston-area businesses that may need staffing support
• Identify general managers, HR leaders, operations managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers
• Generate leads through cold calls, emails, networking, referrals, and approved in-person visits
• Introduce Kyros and explain our staffing services professionally
• Schedule qualified sales meetings for management
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, conversations, and follow-up activity
• Assist with presentations, proposals, and client follow-up
• Participate in sales coaching, role-playing, and pipeline-review meetings
• Work toward independently developing and closing new client accounts
• Maintain professional communication and represent the Kyros brand appropriately
Qualifications
• No previous staffing-sales experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with new people and making outbound calls
• Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn
• Able to accept coaching and apply feedback
• Organized and consistent with follow-ups
• Professional appearance and business etiquette
• Basic computer, email, spreadsheet, and social-media skills
• Reliable transportation for approved local business visits is preferred
• Customer service, retail sales, hospitality, recruiting, marketing, or call-center experience is helpful but not required
Compensation
• $250 per week during the initial 60-day paid ramp and training period
• Commission eligibility begins on Day One
• 30% of eligible gross profit from qualifying accounts personally originated and closed during the account’s first six months
• 15% of eligible gross profit beginning in Month Seven while the account remains active and eligible
• Commissions are based on qualifying client payments actually collected by Kyros
• Uncapped commission opportunity
• All commissions are subject to the final written commission agreement
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is hungry, confident, resilient, and comfortable hearing “no.” This person does not need to be an experienced executive, but must be willing to prospect consistently, learn the staffing business, follow a structured sales process, and work toward becoming an independent contract closer.
To Apply
Please submit your résumé and a brief response explaining why you are interested in business development and how you would approach contacting a potential Kyros client.
