Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Front Office Application Support Analyst to join our Equity Derivatives team at a major tier-1 day-to-day bank. This is an entry-level L1/L2 functional support position perfect for a tech-savvy individual looking to break into the financial sector. No prior finance experience is required - we will train you on the business side.
Your main focus will be managing application health, configuring alerts, and handling technical incidents directly supporting the trading floor environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Proactively monitor core trading applications and infrastructure; set up, fine-tune, and respond to system alerts to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Incident Management (L1/L2): Act as the first line of defense for application issues, performing initial triage, troubleshooting, and escalating complex functional or technical bugs as needed.
  • Day-to-Day Support: Assist front-office users with routine queries, application access, and system health checks.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Unix / Linux environments (command line navigation, file manipulation).
  • Scripting capabilities in Python (or Shell/Bash) for basic task automation and log parsing.
