Novares is looking for its Manufacturing department his/her future Process Technician (M/F), located in HOWELL HW-PL.

Finality
Monitor the reliability and productivity of APU with improved performance Safety/ Quality/ Cost/ Time/ Environment
Main Missions
1- Ensure the day-to-day control of the process
-
Contribute to improving production efficiency, scrap rate and technical productivity of processes
- Provide technical support for the APU by creating and developing technical standards, reference standards for settings and business operating procedures
- Participate in the equipment maintenance plan
- Develop the skills of setter technicians or equipment
operators
- Analyze scrap (analysis of red bins) and waste from the process
- Technically solve quality problems in order to eliminate ' quality walls'
- Create and update configuration tracking sheets (settings sheets) for processes and their devices
- Ensure production equipment reliability to improve quality and safety of existing equipment
- Recommend innovative technical solutions for manufacturing processes to achieve productivity, quality improvement or safety targets
- Define and develop technical solutions with external service providers
2- Provide training for process participants and ensure the deployment and capitalization of technical skills within the APU
- Train and support Setter technicians or equipment operators on working methodologies, settings sheets, and tools
- Make the necessary decisions to optimize results, in line with initial data, and give reasons for choices
- Monitor indicators
- Coordinate their activities with other support services
3 - Control the update of processes
- Improve production efficiency, scrap rate, reliability, cycle and process productivity
- Optimize material consumption, reduce waste and scrap associated with processes and materials
- Lead process optimization, perform tests and trials, draft test reports
- Conduct PDCA cycles for the process in the APU (mass production changes, scrap, cycle time, process, tools, etc.)
- Capitalize on the feedback
- Oversee SMED projects
4 - Implement new processes
- Guide and validate tool design
- Develop new equipment related to their field
- Prepare new product/process launch projects
- Participate in the technical aspects of process transfer
- Receive processing means (tools, processes) in the APU with Methods, Maintenance and QHSE departments
- Perform product/process testing in the development phase and keep teams and specialized departments informed
- Guarantee the ramp-up of processes and define the production standard
- Implement 5S after testing or maintenance
