Entry-Level Data Center Technician
New Albany, OH (Columbus Metro Area)
Full-Time Contract | 58-64 Hours/Week Available

TEKsystems is partnering with Vision Technologies to hire Entry-Level Data Center Technicians for one of the fastest-growing industries in the country. What You'll Be Doing

• Pulling and routing low-voltage cabling
• Installing and assembling equipment racks
• Using hand and power tools
• Labeling and organizing cables
• Assisting with technology infrastructure installations
• Following safety procedures on large construction sites
• Working alongside experienced technicians who will train you on the job

No Data Center Experience Required
We are open to candidates with backgrounds such as:

• Construction Laborer
• Electrician Helper
• Warehouse Associate
• Manufacturing Technician
• Cable Installer
• HVAC Helper
• Maintenance Technician
• Military Veteran
• General Laborer
• Any physically demanding, hands-on role

Requirements
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable transportation
Good attendance history
Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Ability to pass a bg check and drug screen
Work Locations
Technicians will start at the New Albany Data Center, but project needs may require supporting additional sites throughout the Columbus area, including:

• New Albany, OH
• Grove City, OH
• Lancaster, OH

Applicants should be comfortable commuting throughout the Columbus metro area as needed.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
