Job description

Description

Low Voltage is seeking experienced Data & Cabling Technicians to join their team in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position may require flexibility for regional travel as job site locations shift between active commercial construction zones and operational office environments. This is NOT an entry-level role. While you will work under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Foreman to execute large-scale layouts, you must possess proven, independent experience navigating commercial pathways, routing low-voltage wiring, and executing clean data terminations without supervision.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Independently pulling, routing, and distributing low-voltage copper cabling ((CAT5e), (CAT6), (CAT6A)) through J-hooks, conduits, and drop ceilings.

- You will cleanly bundle, dress, and systematically label your runs while performing precise, high-volume data terminations into RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, and server-room patch panels using T568A/B standards.

To qualify, you must bring 1 to 3 years of commercial low-voltage experience, complete comfort with hand and power tools, and a strict commitment to construction site safety (OSHA 10 preferred). You must also possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the physical stamina to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in tight spaces. In return, we provide a structured career path where our leads will train you on advanced systems, including enterprise fiber optics, network certifiers, and integrated commercial security/AV platforms.
