Job description

Description:

This entry-level job is a great fit for someone who has the desire to challenge themselves. You will have the hands-on opportunity to process a high-volume of invoices each week. You will play a big part in making sure that the bills are paid on time and that the lights stay on.


What you’ll do

  • Assemble, review, and verify invoices and check requests
  • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
  • Sort, code, and match invoices and set invoices up for payment
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts and statements to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files / file invoices
  • Respond to vendor and store personnel inquiries with a focus on problem solving and customer service
  • Assist with month end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Maintain accurate historical records
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Perform other duties as assigned
