OVERVIEW

The Cache County Assessor's Office invites candidates to apply for an Assessment Data Entry Specialist position. The Assessment Data Entry Specialist position supports accurate, well-documented property records for assessment and public service. This entry-level, onsite role (179 N Main St, Logan, UT) is full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., at $20.63/hour.

All benefits start on the first day! Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Utah Retirement System, 14 paid holidays, and 18 days of Personal Leave in the first year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include entering and validating sales and permit-related information; updating property records and sketches using spreadsheets and assessment-related software; supporting record audits, cleanup projects, and report preparation; assisting with field data collection and documentation for appraiser review; and providing professional, confidential assistance to the public in accordance with policy and applicable laws.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma/equivalent
  • Data entry/records experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and databases; familiarity with CAMA/GIS/permitting/sketch tools preferred
  • Ability to follow written procedures, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally
