DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
  • Complete accurate data entry and data processing within deadlines requiring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Respond to requests for information and assist employees with inquiries.
  • Complete periodic reports and submissions.
  • Prepare documents and complete filing.
  • Answer phone calls, Emails.
  • Assist with employee inquiries regarding payroll checks or deductions on their paychecks.
  • Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Prepare, maintain & track related-payroll records and reports.
  • To process, review and correct punches from electronic time clocks and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll information by collecting payroll date from sheet and other records, calculating, and entering data into payroll system.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
  • Experience in an office administrator role
  • Previous experience in one or more administrative departments such as accounts receivable, payroll or human resources highly preferred.
  • Ability to speak effectively with employees of organizations.
  • Must have very strong data entry/typing/computer skills.
  • General PC familiarity required; Ability to use Outlook Email, Word and Excel in daily communication.
  • Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce HRIS system preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma is required, Associate degree from an U.S. accredited Community College is preferred.
  • Must have skills in accuracy and attention to detail, including timely follow-up in expediting exceptions.
  • Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  • Work well in a team environment as well as individually.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Basic level of working experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Satisfactory background and references
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • 2-3 years of payroll experience.
