Job description

Hanover Foods Corporation Clayton, De is currently seeking a QA Inspector C for our 2nd shift.   We offer a competitive rate of pay and a comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drugs, and 401K)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties listed below are representative of the types of responsibilities required for the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the organization:

  • Conducts pre-operational and operational inspections of sanitation and plant conditions; documents findings and reports any concerns to Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Samples and evaluates finished products to verify quality, grading, and compliance with specifications.
  • Performs in-process checks, including analytical and organoleptic evaluations, to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Monitors and records packaging attributes such as fill weight, seal integrity, and product coding accuracy.
  • Ensures all quality and production data are accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and housekeeping standards.
  • Follows all safety procedures and participates in promoting a culture of workplace safety.
  • Upholds and enforces company policies and procedures related to food safety, legality, and quality, including but not limited to GMPs, HACCP, food security, and product quality standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
