YOUR ROLE
The Data Manager plays a vital role in capturing and elevating our organization's impact by overseeing the entire lifecycle of youth development data, from collection to compliance reporting. By establishing a reliable data collection schedule and training front-line staff, this role ensures accurate, secure, and high-quality data entry across all programs. Ultimately, they ensure all data is collected so our data evaluator can create clear dashboards and actionable insights, empowering program teams to improve their work and providing leadership with the robust evidence needed to satisfy funders and secure future grants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create, maintain and manage the organization's data collection schedule.
  • Train front line staff in supporting data collection/survey completion.
  • Monitor data collection according to data collection schedule to ensure deadlines are met and data gaps are minimized.
  • Develop user-friendly data collection guides.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for the organization's database.
  • Provide regular data cleaning, auditing and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with youth data privacy standards and organizational confidentiality policies.
  • Extract and package data to share with grant evaluator..
  • Ensure data collection practices are culturally responsive, equitable, and accessible for the youth and families served.
  • Travel to program sites during operation hours will be required for some aspects of this role.
