What does an entry level cyber security data analyst do?

An Entry Level Cyber Security Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help protect an organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. They monitor security systems, investigate suspicious activities, and assist in identifying vulnerabilities. Their work supports senior analysts in detecting potential breaches and ensuring compliance with security policies. Entry-level analysts often use various tools and software to examine security logs and generate reports for management.

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication help individuals excel in identifying threats and explaining findings to teams.
