Job description

A global leader in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) is seeking a Customer Service Representative, on a temp to hire basis, to add to their growing team. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support by accurately processing orders, resolving order related inquiries, and supporting sales activities. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring timely, professional, and solutions-oriented service while supporting the company’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The Customer Service Representative will:

  • Process customer purchase orders received via phone, email, and online portals using internal order management systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping, pricing, and general account information.
  • Investigate and resolve order, shipment, and billing issues, including returns, replacements, and credits.
  • Manage scheduled or standing orders and coordinate with pricing or sales teams for quote renewals as needed.
  • Provide first level support for basic product or technical inquiries with appropriate training and reference materials.
  • Follow up on sales leads and customer requests in partnership with Sales and Commercial Operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order data within CRM/ERP systems.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment, always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support additional customer service or operational tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in an order entry, sales support, or commercial operations environment.
  • Proven ability to resolve customer issues and deliver high quality service.
  • Experience using online order entry systems, CRM, or ERP platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn systems, products, and business processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting sales teams or commercial operations.
  • Exposure to regulated, healthcare, life sciences, or technical product environments.
  • Comfort working under pressure in a deadline driven setting.
