Waitress Job DescriptionSedalia Huddle HouseLocation: Connected to the Temp-Stop in Lake Lotawana (South Blue Springs, East Lees Summit)Job Summary: HUDDLE HOUSE!

The Food Server will be responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers. They will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. Server position will earn $7.50 an hour plus tips (never below $15.00 an hour). Our typical servers make anywhere from $18.00 to $23.00 an hour depending upon server quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and take their orders
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Server or similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
