Building rapport with golfers and staying adaptable to changing situations will also help you succeed in this dynamic, customer-focused role.

What are beverage cart attendants on a golf course?

Beverage cart attendants on a golf course are staff members responsible for driving specially equipped carts around the course to offer drinks, snacks, and sometimes light meals to golfers during play. They help enhance the golfing experience by providing convenient refreshment options and maintaining friendly interactions with guests. Additionally, they are responsible for handling payments, restocking their carts, and ensuring compliance with local alcohol service regulations.

These skills and qualifications ensure efficient service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety regulations on the course.

For example, if you work at a country club, drinks may be available free to all members and your job is to provide them on request. At public golf courses, you may sell the snacks and drinks while processing cash, card, or electronic transactions. Those who work at large golf courses may occasionally sell beverages to audiences who have come to watch professional games.
