Overview

Rogue Valley Manor is seeking an experienced Restaurant Cook to join our team!  We are Medford's premier upscale Senior living community and you will be working directly with our Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine to create a fine-dining experience for our residents. Our dining department is committed to culinary excellence, developing our team, and work-life balance. If you love cooking and being creative with food, come join our team! 

At Rogue Valley Manor you will have the unique opportunity to make an impact on our residents with every meal you help prepare. Additionally, we provide regular and consistent working hours and no more 11pm or 2am closing shifts!

What you'll be doing: 

You will produce breakfast, lunch and/or dinner menu items, including items pertaining to therapeutic diets, room service delivery, catering needs, and staff meals. At the direction of the Sous Chef and/or Chef de Cuisine, you may be asked to delegate specific duties to other staff members to ensure that all items needed for meals or events are prepared on time. You will adhere to and help ensure adherence to all established Dining Services policies and procedures.

About you:

  • One (1) year of entry level kitchen leadership experience is preferred.
  • Any current state-sanctioned regulatory Food and Alcoholic Beverage Licenses that are required in order to work within the food, beverage, and/or health services environment.
  • You consider quality a priority over simply getting things done. You aren’t satisfied until residents and peers feel confident in your service/product.

 Compensation Range:  $18.00 - $21.50 / hr DOE
