Job description

Mayo Clinic announces an open-rank tenure-track faculty recruitment dedicated to advancing understanding and developing treatment strategies for autoimmunity in Type 1 diabetes. The position emphasizes the development of novel immunomodulatory or disease-modifying therapeutic approaches, as well as innovative strategies for immune protection and evasion in stem cell-derived islet cells for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute at the intersection of islet autoimmunity, translational immunology, islet cell biology, transplantation research, and stem cell biology. Mayo Clinic, ranked first in Diabetes and Endocrinology patient care, seeks candidates who demonstrate excellence in collaborative environments and possess a strong record of partnership with clinical colleagues.
