Job description

Valparaiso, FL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking entry-level Construction Materials Testing Technicians to support field testing and inspection activities on construction projects. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in gaining hands-on experience in construction materials testing and field inspection.

Essential Duties:
• Perform sampling and testing of asphalt, concrete, and soils.
• Conduct field inspections of various construction activities.
• Monitor pile driving, paving, earthwork, and other construction operations.
• Perform testing and inspection activities in accordance with established procedures and project requirements.
• Accurately document field observations and testing activities.
• Work around active construction sites and coordinate with field personnel as needed.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of lower-level technicians as experience is gained.

Requirements/Skills:
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in construction, materials testing, inspection, or related field work.
• Ability to work safely in active construction environments.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and field testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established testing and inspection procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors and navigate uneven construction sites.
