Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Perform general construction labor tasks on residential job sites, including site preparation, material handling, and clean-up
  • Assist with excavation activities, trenching, and backfilling under the guidance of experienced crew members
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Load and unload materials and equipment as required
  • Support equipment operators and foremen in day-to-day site activities
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to complete tasks efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
  • Take direction and training with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must have the ability to get chauffeur's license (not required at start)

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of construction experience preferred, especially with excavation, but not required-willing to train the right candidates!
  • Interest in or experience with excavation work is a plus
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to take direction and work safely at all times
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
