Rogers Group is seeking a GENERAL LABORER for our Quarry located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The successful candidate must be motivated and have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Job Details:
  • Day Shift

  • Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete general plant/mine labor tasks and clean-up of production areas - including working with shovels and various other hand tools.

  • Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.

  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.

  • Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.

  • To be trained in other entry level production positions and possibly heavy equipment positions to fill in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times.

  • Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties assigned by management.

  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/ MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Qualifications:
  • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Previous mining experience preferred.

  • Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment - bobcat, skid steer, and haul truck is a plus.

  • Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.

  • Ability to learn quickly.

  • Ability to work outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.

  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as production requires.

  • Valid Driver's License is required.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen at any time.

  • Must be able to provide documentation to prove identity and eligibility for authorization to work in the U.S.
