Job description

Summary
Perform tasks with field team members, including Restoration, Waterproofing, and Expansion Control services. Most tasks require hand and power tools such as chipping hammers, grinders, saws, and various applicators. Working from elevated spaces is common and includes being comfortable on and safely operating mobile equipment such as telehandlers, swing stages, and a variety of aerial lifts such as scissors, telescopic booms, and articulated knuckle booms.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work as two to five-person teams to deliver quality services.
  • Properly maintain all equipment and tools so that they are in a safe and reliable working condition.
  • Restoration
    • Block and brick installation, as well as replacement/repair.
    • Joint sealants and caulking at masonry and concrete facades.
    • Restoration of unsound concrete
    • Stone replacement and restoration
    • Tuckpointing
  • Waterproofing
    • Install chemical-resistant liners.
    • Install commercial waterproofing and caulking as well as damp-proofing solutions.
    • Epoxy and urethane crack injection.
    • Fluid-applied and sheet membrane waterproofing

Work Environment/Physical Demand
This position works in a typical construction site environment. This position requires long periods of standing and should be able to lift 80 pounds.
Position type, travel, and expected hours of work.
This is a full-time field position; travel will occur in and around Grand Rapids job sites. Typical hours will range from 45-50 hours per week and are subject to change. This role requires occasionally working night and weekend hours based on construction schedules.
