Job description

Volt is immediately hiring for GEOINT Display Systems Engineer in
As a GEOINT Display Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Lead display evaluation and characterization efforts, including test plan development, performance analysis, and requirements assessment.
  • Develop and apply test methods and analysis workflows to evaluate new and emerging display technologies.
  • Serve as a technical authority for display calibration, image?science measurement techniques, and display?quality best practices.
  • Support improvements to calibration tools, automation workflows, and reporting in collaboration with software teams.
  • Perform root?cause analysis of display and image?quality issues across the sensor?to?analyst chain.
  • Support customer briefings, technical meetings, and onsite evaluations.
  • Deliver display calibration and quality training to analysts and support personnel.
  • Coordinate with display vendors to evaluate prototype hardware.
  • Provide technical guidance to cross?functional engineering teams.
  • Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites as required for training and onsite support.

Duration: 12 months contract
Clearance: Active Secret
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Imaging Science, or related field.
  • 9+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in image quality, electro?optical systems, or display metrology.
  • Hands?on experience with display test equipment (e.g., colorimeters, spectroradiometers).
  • Knowledge of display calibration fundamentals and color?science principles.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB, Python, IDL, or similar.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to customers and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting GEOINT, ISR, or intelligence exploitation environments.
  • Familiarity with display calibration software (1D/3D LUTs, profiling).
  • Experience leading technical test or evaluation efforts.
  • Knowledge of end?to?end imaging systems.

Pay Rate: $45-$47/hr on w2
