POSITION SUMMARY:

The Application Systems Analyst II position is responsible for providingongoing support and maintenance for mission critical applications as well asassisting with the enhancement and expansion of their use across campus.  Responsibilities include requirementsgathering, specification writing, application configuration, account and accessmanagement, upgrades and patching, documentation, end-user training and thearchitecture of solutions to resolve business needs across custom andthird-party applications.  This positionis responsible for troubleshooting and helping determine if software is beingused to its maximum potential.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with functional users to define requirements including maintenanceschedules, account creations and deletions, permissions, data access plans,testing, reporting strategies and obtains proper sign-offs.  Identify opportunities that can improveefficiency of business processes related to technological solutions.
Assist with andmaintain integration with other systems such as the Banner ERP software.  Work with functional departments and CTScolleagues to ensure data accuracy and integrity between and among third partyapplications. 
Performunsupervised application administration and maintenance functions in support ofproduction, test and development environments for various applicationsincluding installing and upgrading software, installations of service packs,patches, hot fixes, etc. as required.
Leadership withbasic tasks and projects and provide timeline estimates for small projects
Field incomingproblem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues for missioncritical systems.  Enter and manageservice requests with third party software vendors. 
Evaluate proposed solutions and takenecessary maintenance and troubleshooting actions to resolve basic technicalissues.
Maintain andupgrade vendor supplied equipment (UKG time clocks, card swipe readers).  Ensure accuracy and integrity of integrationbetween data collection devices and back end systems.
Providefunctional and application support for custom built process automationworkflows and forms (TeamDynamix/iPaaS).
Assist in thedocumentation, development and delivery of end user software applicationtraining.
Support andenforce security procedures and best practices at all times.  Help to identify and investigate securityrisks.
Completes otherduties as assigned.
