Job description

SYSTEMS ANALYST:  2 VACANCIES
Description
As a member of the IT team, the Systems Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for technology support across the district.  This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient utilization of technological resources and delivering exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.  The Systems Analyst addresses technical challenges related to devices, network systems (LAN, WAN, WLAN), educational platforms, security cameras, content filters and audio-visual equipment.
Responsibilities





  • Provides support for course management systems, student management software, content management systems and troubleshooting for websites
  • Administers and maintains building-level equipment and software including, but not limited to, computers, labs, technology carts, mobile devices, instructional and business software, telephone and VoIP, AV and presentation tools, printers and multi-function copiers
  • Acts as the first line of support to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues and minimize disruptions for users
  • Utilizes diagnostic tools and user feedback to provide comprehensive solutions
  • Analyzes technical issues and offers constructive feedback to IT leadership and district administration for ongoing enhancement of technology services
  • Manages data accuracy and facilitates effective rostering across various platforms, providing assistance and support to educators and administrators
  • Stays updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations, ensuring that all technology solutions meet legal and ethical standards
  • Implements and manages email security protocols, including spam filtering, malware detection and phishing protection
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Superintendent
