3rd Shift- 10:00pm- 6:00am
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
This is an entry-level position
Primary Responsibilities:
Preparing machines and equipment for daily use
Perform quality checks
Communicatewith set-up, technician, and supervisor any issues that may arise during operations
Use of inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation, and make necessary adjustments, understand gauging and visual inspection tooling, attention to detailed processes
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notification when defects are identified
Education / Experience:
High School Diploma (or years of experience)
High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast paced environment
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience interacting with mechanical systems
Proficient with use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials
Proven record of using inspection data
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately set up and assemble products
Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
Ability to read and write English
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs safely & dependably
Must be able to carry 30 lbs safely & dependably
Push/pull a minimum weight of 180 lbs safely & dependably with the assistance of hand dolly
Job has repetitious hand work (will rotate daily)
Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing throughout the shift (8-10 hours) is required in this job.
Able to work in an uncontrolled climate (excessive heat)
