Job description

Title: Technology Project Coordinator
Department: Information Technology
Location: Mound MN
Reports To: Technology Project Manager
Overview
Tank Holding Corporation is North America's largest rotational molder and the world leader in the design and manufacturing of polyethylene tank and container products.
The Technology Project Coordinator is a role designed to support the planning, coordination, training, and execution of technology initiatives across our multi-facility organization. This position works closely with the Technology Project Manager, IT leadership, business teams and end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems, improved processes, and consistent documentation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, learning new systems, and supporting people through change.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Project Support
  • Assist with planning and coordinating technology projects, including scheduling, documentation, task tracking, and status updates.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, systems, and data to identify inefficiencies or gaps and clarify deliverables.
  • Help monitor project progress and identify risks, issues, or dependencies that may impact timelines and development of KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports for operations and leadership.
  • Prepare project communication materials, meeting notes, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new systems, upgrades, and process improvements.

Training & User Support
  • Assist in developing and delivering training of ERP systems and other technology solutions.
  • Help administer training sessions for new hires and existing staff, including virtual, onsite, and hybrid training.
  • Maintain and update training documentation, reference guides, and process walkthroughs.
  • Evaluate learner progress and help address competency gaps through additional coaching or resources.

Systems & Process Improvements
  • Partner with business units to understand operational processes and help document system requirements.
  • Participate in testing system enhancements, upgrades, and new features; gather user feedback and document results.
  • Help troubleshoot Core System issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes or reduce system issues.

General Responsibilities
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with employees at all levels.
  • Support cross-site collaboration using tools including Microsoft Teams.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation for audits, compliance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support

Experience / Skills Required
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or equivalent certifications; OR equivalent experience/internships.
  • Strong interest in technology, business analysis, or project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.

Preferred
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Infor XA experience a plus).
  • Experience and/or certifications related to training or project management.
  • Understanding of basic project management and change management.
  • Experience in training, documentation, or user support activities.

Working Conditions
  • Office environment with consistent computer use.
  • Periodic travel to company facilities as needed.
  • Occasional after-hours support during go-lives or urgent project events.
