Leadership and Functional Responsibilities

Perform the setup and operation of packaging and bagging equipment on designated product lines according to the production schedule.

Packaging and labeling coffee.

Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observed.

Ensure all production complies with quality and food safety standards.

Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with food safety standards.

Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.

Perform safety checks on every machine prior to and during runtime.

Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.

Setup operational parameters (run speed, quantity, shapes, and sizes) on machine terminals or controls.

Record all production performance, counts, downtime, and other quality or production related information as required.

Participate in production process improvement efforts.

Education and Skill Requirements

High school education or equivalent.

0–1 years of experience operating packaging, bagging, or manufacturing equipment; entry-level candidates willing to train are encouraged to apply.

Previous packaging machine experience helpful.

Ability to safely lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

US Military Veteran a plus.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work / Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position and may require long hours, including weekend and night work, depending on business events.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate equipment and controls, and reach, stoop, or kneel to service machinery.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision due to equipment operation.

Light to moderate lifting is required.

Regular, predictable attendance is required, including quarter-driven hours as business needs dictate.

Moderate noise level (production floor with packaging equipment and machinery).
