Job description

Job Summary The Fabricator role (I, II, III) is responsible for using various raw materials, tools, and hands-on skills to create components for finished machinery. This role involves setting up and operating machinery, such as saws, hydraulic shears, fastener presses, and single-station punches, while ensuring products meet specifications. Fabricators read, interpret, and follow blueprints or instructions to produce accurate parts.

Fabricator II and III roles require the ability to adjust machinery to ensure precision and quality, with Fabricator III having the expertise to set up and operate all machines in the fabrication shop, maintaining the highest product standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate laser machines, CNC Punch, Press Brakes, Roll, Saws, Hydraulic Shear, Fastener Press, and Single Station Punch. Perform necessary adjustments, including blade changes, material staging, and handling hydraulic material equipment.

Handle, sort, count, and tag fabricated metal parts. Use handheld sanders to deburr metal parts. Assist machine operators as needed.

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints or instructions for finished products. Operate Drill Press, Hydraulic Press, and Single Station Punch as required. Ensure quality control and document work performed.

Maintain a clean and organized shop environment. Able to perform Fabricator I & II responsibilities as needed. SALARY RANGE $20 - $34 per hour.
