Position Overview
The CNC Machine Operator 2 operates CNC machinery and assists with machining a variety of components. This is an intermediate-level position that requires more experience and knowledge than a CNC Machine Operator 1.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating multiple machines, reading basic engineering drawings, using precision measuring tools, and troubleshooting common machining issues.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines and efficiently run multiple machines or work centers.
  • Set up machines by identifying the correct tooling and fixtures.
  • Load materials into machines and monitor the machining process.
  • Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
